I have come to CANADA and will visit USA, Instead of bringing currency I have brought International Debit Card (Masters) Issued by ICICI Bank. After reaching Toronto no site is accepting this card. They want local card issued in Canads. ICICI says my card is international but sites like Amazon refuses to honour asking me to contact bank. Bank replied the card should be accepted as it is Intrnational. Masters card absolved themselves from reponsibility by stating I need to contact bank only. Now I am in a foreign country peniless but having mney in my bank account. What is the legal remedy for me? Can consumer court help me?
