DV Act Maintenance Ordered

Sir Last Sep. court ordered interim maintenance 9000 per month on dv act case, husband filed appeal to session court in December, but no stay was granted, in this September it is scheduled to order. Till now he has paid only 5000 total. I want to know if appeal order reduces my maintenance, will it be counted from beginning, since no stay on the order? (September 2017) or from the date of order of appeal? Any suggestion what should I do to recover the arrears
