The House rental agreement stamp paper date is 5th Feb 2018 and also execution date is 5th Feb 2018, while effective date is effective 1st April 2017. Almost all the employees in the organisation have submitted such agreements. Is this fake or legally tenable under law?
Sir...Can you please provide the section and Act. I understand Sec 17 of stamp duty acts says date of execution should be in line with date of agreement which is complied in the agreement. Only issue is the effective date is back dated. Please provide some case law reference, so that this can be put across to employees and stop this menace in the MNC's
