Criminal case and eligibility for civil services

Sir/Madam,
1) If an FIR has been filed in someone's name but he/she isn't chargesheeted yet, then can he/ she apply for UPSC and get selected if he clears the exam??

2) If a person is chargesheeted, and hence put on trial, but not yet convicted, then can he apply for UPSC and get selected for the job incase he clears the examination??

3) What if a person is already exonerated from all charges ?? Can he then apply for services and get selected incase he clears the exam??

Thanks in advance!!

Dear Sir,

With all due respect i request you for an answer to this query...I didn't get any answer by your post Dy Director sir...

and one more thing...

What if a person is simply a part of the case as a witness or to testify or provide information that could help solve the crime, then will the person be allowed to sit for UPSC and get the job if he clears the exam??

Thanks!!
