Credit card problem

Dear Sir i have taken a SBI card in the year 2006 I have paid the dues for 20 months again and again they collect penalty. As such I stopped the payment and due amount is 8000 only . Now SBI sold all credit card defaulters dues to Kotak mahendra . I have received a heart breaking letter which stated that i have to pay Rs.1,00,000 as dues to the new money lender Kotak .What can I do to switch over the new trouble created by the SBI.
