Correct on stamp duty paper

We got e - Non Judicial Stamp Papers and by mistake my lawyer has made spelling mistakes in Surname. The Surname printed, while issuing the Stamp Paper is Josh instead of Correct Surname Jose. Surname printed in text of Sale Dead as well as in Revenue Record is correct, that is, Jose. Request experts to advise followings: 1. Whether the correction is possible. 2. Whether this error is acceptable, as it is only title of the E Stamp Paper issued by the Treasury. Otherwise in typing of Sale deed the names and surnames are correctly spelled. Thanks Ramesh Kapur

No problem. This just typographical mistake. The contents to be printed on the e-stamp paper important those should mention correct name address etc. of parties.

Thanks Mr. Mahajan for the advice. Though as per your advise, such mistaks are counted, however please advise if there is any procedure to get the documents corrected,

Appreciate your inputs.

Best regards
