Hi all! My friend is making a film and he is new to the industry. Kindly guide me on how to go about the entire registration process. it is a two hour long feature film and copyright is needed on 5 songs also. also wanted to know about censor board certifications, film writers association, title registration, disclaimers, etc.
Please guide about the same. thanks in advance.

I believe, you are a law graduate too. First statement is just to get familiar with your profile.
As far as copyright is concerned, you need not bother much about it as copyright exists even without registration (As I understand from your query, your friend would like to make more profit in less investment for his first project.). You may very well go for TM registration, Title registration etc. Although acquiring a registration certificate is a long drawn process (takes 1-3 years depending upon the nature of application) but at the same time protection is given right from the day when application is accepted.
