Copyright act 1957 section 63

Dear Sir,

I want your advice on following matter. I am from Mumbai. I run computer training Institute.

FIR was filed against me for using pirated software under copyright Act 1957 section 63. After FIR i ahve taken bail from court. Meanwhile that software company approach to me to purchase the software and also assure to help me in case whenever it will come up. I was advised to go for quashing and we will not take any objection.

This case in not on board on yet. Can i apply for quashing right now? If yes what is process?

What is chances of getting this case quashed??

Regards,

You can very well do so. I have done a similar case against SAP in Delhi. Hire a good advocate. He will guide you through the process.
