Dear All,

Need to know that "whether a person, a member of a cooperative society in West Bengal is eligible to give Power of Attorney to a third person, other than his family member, without the permission of the Society can give or not?

If yes then whether the same should be notarised or to be registered?

please confirm.

Query is not clear.Which type of Coop.Society? The intention of POA ?

This is a housing cooperative. One of the member has given power of attorney to a third person without the written permission from the society.also his intension to sold his flat at a high price.

A member has to abide the byelaws.So,contact the society before venturing anything.
