I have a site in Bangalore under Gram Panchayat. I did not take approval from Gram Panchayat to construct house there. Now my house construction is finished. According to new rule I heard that we can convert our site/land or any Gram Panchayat site/land into "A Khata" by paying betterment charges (Rs. 60 per sq/ft). Will I be able to convert it now into "A Khata"? Do I need to pay more money to convert it into "A Khata"? Please help.
