Contract job

i am a teacher now aged 41 yrs.. i have been in an educational institution of high repute as a senior teacher on a contract of three years ending in this march 2014. Before entering this employment i was teaching another subject and this was a specialised subject that i was needed to teach. I was also assured that it is regular and permanent appointment and i was the first person who started this entirely new department in the school.

Orally, I am appointed as a regular and a permanent employee but due to my age of around 38 years at the time of entering the contract, a regular appointment letter could not be issued to me..

Now i feel there is a well planned conspiracy going on from the employer side to fire me out of the institution alleging me in a child(male child of 15-16 years) molestation case, which seems to be false and framed in its very first instance as a prima facie..as the letter states that the incident took place in may 2013. and i am being given a letter in this march 2014 - the last month as per my contract term letter. It is to be noted that there are many other teachers (female) also on an annual contract from last many years but they did not face any problem like this. I m a hindu male ad other male teachers belongs to the caste of that minority institution.

Kindly advise me how to fight it back, because this allegation can ruin my entire life and career. and moreover due to my age and field (subject) of work it is very difficult to find another job..

You have posted that:

“i have been in an educational institution of high repute as a senior teacher on a contract of three years ending in this march 2014.

Has the school issued a written contract to you?

---“.as the letter states that the incident took place in may 2013. and i am being given a letter in this march 2014 - the last month as per my contract term letter.

What is the date on letter and did you put date of its receipt on the letter?

Was any inquiry conducted and opportunity of hearing given to you?

The school is affiliated to which Board?

You may download the service rules set by the board e.g; CBSE……………

AFFILIATION BYE -LAWS

VII. Service Rules for Employees 25-38

You must approach a competent and experienced service lawyer well versed with disciplinary proceedings at your location and submit a carefully structured reply.

Try to settle the matter and convince the management to let you continue in employment till you firm up your next venture.

Looking into the conduct of the management it would be futile to in service with them.
