After giving ws one of the plaintiffs out of two has filed breach of status quo under 39 2a after a 7 yrs during trial against me( defendant) for alleged breach which dates back before issues were framed. I was not aware of stay. On going through case papers I find that injunction was sought along with main suit under 39 2a but stay order passed after six months. Order is very vague as I understand.
I was never informed by my lawyer nor by plaintiffs of the stay order.
Online case status shows no such order attached.
Lawyer for some reason not disclosing facts as I am away.
Is such contempt application filed under 39 2a tenable and signed by one plaintiff of the firm ( the other dead,) and after 7 years.
Why order is not attached in online status?
Is 1971 law applicable, in which case time limit barred.
Was it not mandatory for plaintiffs to inform me of the status quo .
As already stated lawyer wouldn't disclose the facts may be due to local nexus.
