We had a dispute with a Client with regard to transactions executed in Multi-Commodity Exchange.
We took the Client to Arbitration. Even though the Client did not turn up, the Arbitration Award was in our favour.
The Client has filed a petition against us in a Consumer redressal Forum.
We wish to know if disputes arising out of Transactions in Commodity Exchanges are out of the purview of Consumer Courts or not.?
In case such disputes are out of the purview of Consumer Forum, can you please provide us with some judgments / case laws?
