I'm a doctor - I am changing my company to a new company, however as per the contract
"Doctors shall not engage directly or indirectly through any person/ Organisation similar work or business within 5km radius
But my new company is just 2kms away,

You could have consulted before signing on such clauses.
Since you have signed you have given the opportunity to the company to object.
The relationship was employer-employee?
The Indian courts have been declining to such clauses since IT hits the right to earn livelihood.
