Commercial building and security guards requirements

Hello,

Is it mandatory to provide security guards in commercial building as per rental laws in Haryana?

Can a landlord divide the cost of hiring security guards among tenants? Provided no such clause about security is mentioned in rent agreement.

Can a tenant refuse to agree with increased cost regarding security?

1. It is the Land-Lord /Owners liability to provide proper Security to his property, which includes the Tenanted premises. Usually the Rent /Lease fees are inbuilt in the Rent /Lease Agreement, which should include the Security charges too.

2. However, IF the Tenants are liable for common electricity charges, water, sweeper and security charges, THEN the tenants would have to share the maintenance costs.
