Hi Experts,
My Advocate has taken INR 5 Lacs for divorce case and false 498a promising zero alimony.Later he encouraged me to file defamation and other cases and again took 70K.In addition to this for some or the other reason he charged other fees by way of threating, In total i have spent around 6 Lacs and now he is threatening me of conviction by telling all rubbish stories and advising me to settle with my opposite party by paying alimony.My 498a is still in the trial stage.
During the course of my engagement with this advocate for 3 years, i never got proper reply,but all unrelated replies to my queries.I fully got into debts beleiving this advocate and now not in a position to pay alimony.
Now i feel cheated and want to recover my fees and engage another advocate.I have got online records of money transfer to his account.
Experts please advice as to what can be done to recover my fees.
