I am from Vadodara and wanted to change my mother name in my birth Certificate. My mother has two names and wanted to change to what is written in my passport. She had made self declared affidavit and my grandmother had also made affidavit declaring she is the only one person. When i submitted documents to the Municipal, they say its 7 year old affidavit and need the new one..I wanted to know that does Affidavit expires?????....My mother stays in US and how can i give her self declared Affidavit.
My passport, mother & father passport, brother passport and his birth certificate all carries correct name of my mother.
What are the necessary documents i require to submit and its urgent.
