Change in surname

Dear Sir, Thank you for Reading my Enquiry, My self Pavan Kumar i have issue with my Surname in my educational certificates and legal indentity documents where my surname is recorded as Kayasetty Pavan Kumar where as my original name is Kamisetty Pavan Kumar . my aadhar card and pan card is on my original name only . I have no aware of this problem until i applied for passport and got rejected. someone suggested me to change my aadhar card and pan card to that name in my certificates so that no problem will be there. if i do that can i apply for passport and where as my father and mother surname will be Kamisetty and my surname will be Kayasetty kindly give me a suggestion to correct my name Thanks & Regards Pavan Kumar
