The DDA has recently approved the Land Pooling Policy. While the policy is yet to be notified, there are a number of CGHS, welfare and Private Entities that are collecting money from buyers and acquiring land. My questions in this regard are as follows :-
1. Is it legal for a welfare society to collect money and acquire land for building residential units for sale?
2. Is registration of new CGHS permitted in Delhi, or is it on hold?
3. Where can I access the rules governing operation of a CGHS?
4. What are the legal formalities to be fulfilled while becoming member of such a CGHS and paying a share of the cost of the land acquired by the society for later development for residential units?
