Car parking

Can a society charge the same amount for open space car parking as well as those in covered areas and not a garage with a shutter. Also are the members parking in open spaces not eligible for parking their cars in the covered spaces. Should this be on a rotation basis ?

Well, am a new member to the 30 year society. Am being shuffled for parking space in the open area almost 4 times in 3 years. I am unaware if one member has been parking 2 vehicles in enclosed spaces which are full with cars. We have a whatsapp group for the society and someone threatened that he would keep parking in his space regardless of any legal opinion.Hence my question.A member just stated that we have to follow Bye laws. Thank you.
