We have booked a 3 bhk flat in Dombivli palava in July paying first booking amount of Rs. 90,000 by card swipe n second booking amount of Rs. 317952/- on 1st August.
As we have took the loan for the remaining amount. We had supposedly to pay remaining amount after the loan which would be coming next month as per their executive while booking the flat.
So it would be feasible for us to manage rest amount we went ahead for booking.
But within few days, they asked for registration which was supposed to have held on 7th September. But, before that they asked us to pay two dues with hardly any difference of 15 days which was costing around 22 lakhs (loan wasn't sanctioned till that date). So it was very much hard for us to pay the amount, we decided to cancel the booking two three days before the registration. As bank also said will require at least 15 days to sanction the loan n we had to pay interest then for delayed payment.
We cancelled the flat but now builder is not returning money saying cancellation charges will cost on total price of the flat which was 83 lakhs so we are not liable to get any refund.
Till date, we have paid at around 4 lakhs which really matters most for me n for family. We are in a real financial crunch because of our some sudden family commitments now. Can anyone advise n help me in this matter.
