I want to withdraw an application that I have submitted to the Family Court. The family court has scheduled judgment on the next hearing of the entire case and the pending application. Can I file an application to withdraw the application with leave to refile? Will the judge postpone the final judgment? I do not wish to file an application to withdraw the entire suit.

What application you want to withdraw. Whether you are a petitioner or respondent? Unless we know that thing, a definite reply cannot be given to you.

I have filed an application to seek return of certain jewelry belonging to my mother. Problem is that there was a formal defect in the application. THe petition itself is for resolution of immovable properties. I want to keep that petition in place.
