Can society debit an amount from the corpus fund paid by a member as against balance of non payment of maintenance money if requested. I bought the BMC unit in 2014 and society has given me notice on 5 april 2017 of non payment of dues from 2010. which they say i have to pay. i have paid 75000 rupees in the beginning also all dues reguarly since july 2014. can i request them to cut the money from the corpus amount which i paid. also the previous BMC employee has not paid the dues since 2010. and i am not a BMC employee. Kindly advice.
