Can name of society be changed or can society be merged ?

Respected Lawyers I request you to solve this query:

I have two societies in Chhattisgarh lets say "A" and "B"

A- it is 10 year old.

B- this one is 1year old.

1.Is it possible to merge A into B?

2.Is it possible to change name of A as B?

3.If above two is possible what will be its effect on the age of the society?
