1 month go the building caretaker of the apartment i stay came to my home at night, saying that there is an emergency as one of their friend's father has expired and they need 18k, urgently to pay the hospital to get the body for cremation. Now, i didn't had 18k at that time so i gave them 10k , which they said would return in a few days. Those few days have turned into a month and still they are saying they would return it in a few days. My room mate was present during the entire situation and also i have telephonic recordings of the conversation between me and them regarding the money. Can i file a FIR with this?As i think they didn't take the money for anybody's death.
