One of my friends parents separated before his birth. Both Parents belong to Muslim OBC. He was raised by mother's family. Father side refuses to give father's Caste certificate for claiming caste fearing they will claim property as well. His father is expired now.
Can he get the caste certificate from mother's side in such cases as he is raised by his mother's family?
