Hi Team, my builder is giving lot of pain. Started with consuming 16 months to construct 16 Square home and at all stages delaying the work, stating reasons, no fund, no labour etc etc. Of late he himself got absconding at the stage of plastering and we had to approach his family (as we knew his family) to get intervene, so got things moving. After all the agreed money, we had to invest additional 75K and complete the work. Now when we are asking him to pay back that money, he is not agreeing and neither he is finishing few other pending tasks. This is giving my family hell lot of mental torture. Can this case be taken up in consumer forum, or suggest me the options we have to come out of this, with peace of mind.
