Breach of undertaking

'X' has given an undertaking to a bank  'Y' for non extension of a contract with 'Z' and breaches the undertaking by extension of a contract

a) What legal action is X likely to face ?

b) Is the extension of the contract void. 'Z' is unaware of any such undetaking and has been in contract with X for a long time ?

c) How serious an offence is it ?

d) if the undertaking is given on a plain sheet of paper without any stamp paper, does it make any difference ?
