Bonafide purchaser being made party to suit

Hi,

I have a query.

A purchased a plot of land from a firm F. Before Sale deed A verified from land records that the firm F is owner of the land. After A's purchase he received a notice from earlier owner (earlier than the firm) that he had done agreement to sell this plot to this firm (from whom A purchased) but the firm did not pay full amount, hence cancelled that agreement.

But even before receiving full amount, the earlier owner gave full power of attorney in the name of partners of firm allowing them to sell the plot of land .. and hence the parterns sold to their own firm F.

After some time, the earlier owner cancelled power of attorney. Now he is dragging A into the suit and also asking for mandatory injunction from district court.

How can A resist joining this suit and also get rid of injunction.

Please advise.

Thanks,

Learning
