helo
my brother had a fixed deposit in post office. it was in his non legal name (pet name). we did not realise this, till it matured recently and now in absence of any document to support his pet name, he is not able to get it released.
any suggestions to resolve this issue!

1. File a duly prepared Affidavit alongwith "idemnity bond" alongwith relevant "original" documents and submit. The authority is bound to accept it. IF the authority refuses THEN file appeal before the higher authorities.
