Sir,
I want to apply for the marriage certificate at Surat. There are list of documents required for getting marriage certificate. There is a footnote under the list that evevry documents must be attested.
My query is should I have to get all the required documents "TRUE COPY" or SELF ATTESTATION will do? As the department do not give any reply in this matter.
Kindly reply as soon as possible.

Ordinarily, it should mean that the copy of the documents must be Notary Attested, unless it is specified that the Attestation should be by a Gazetted Officer.
