If one person attempt to commit suicide by jumping in railway track. But he escaped, but his hand was injured and amputated. My question is what are all the sections can be attracted for his offence other than 309 of IPC

I don't no present position, but I think Section 309, IPC has been held to be unconstitutional as violative of Article 21 of' the Constitution by the constitution bench of Hon'ble Supreme court in 1994.

Yes , of course Sec 309 has been held to be unconstitutional by SCI.
