Applicability of cpc order 12 rule 6 for divorce decree

Dear Sir, I want to know about the applicability of cpc order 12 rule 6 for divorce decree..Recently my wife submitted the admission under order 12 rule 6 accepted her cruelty but now judge is saying that order 12 rule 6 is not applicable for divorce decree..Is it true? ? If not then can you send or tell me court judgement under order 12 rule 6 for divorce decree..recent or past any judgement passed for divorce decree on basis of order 12 rule 6..I will be really grateful to you all for your guidance. Family courts are bound by cpc, so court can sanction the prayer on admission of the respondent. If the judge does not agree to it you can approach HC. And the other easiest option is amend your petition into MCD so it's a win win a for both the litigant and judge.
