My relative needs to renew the passport but since she is now separated from her husband after the marriage, Passport office asks the Annexure K form (attached):
AFFIDAVIT TO BE SWORN BEFORE THE FIRST CLASS JUDICIAL MAGISTRATE OR THE EXECUTIVE MAGISTRATE ON NON-JUDICIAL STAMP PAPER
They ask to get it signed by the Tahsildar but in Tahsildar office, they are saying they won't do it. So, if we have to approach a First class Judicial Magistrate or the Executive Magistrate, could you please explain the procedure ? How to approach the Magistrate etc. ?
