Ancestral property in possession for 25 years

I have a plot of land under my possession for 25 Years on which I have constructed a 4000 sq ft house 10 Years back. The land is registered under my grandfather's name and was not part of his will (he probably forgot about it), and it was acquired by him in a government land auction.

Can I get this land registred under my name. It is situated in Sehore, Madhya Pradesh.

Please let me know.

All ClassI legal heirs have equal share in it.

It will be considered as your grandfathers intestate property and hence equal share for all legal heirs

The registry of the said plot is not available in revenue records. Can I get this registered in my name on the basis of possession. BTW, All his sons are no more, only grandsons are living - 8 grandsons and 4 granddaughters through 3 sons.

Moreover, the plot of land was lying unclaimed for many years before it was occupied by me. The family is not aware of the same.
