Alimony and marriage expenses

Dear experts,

My wife is demanding 30 lakhs alimony and 15 lakhs towards marriage expenses.

She filed a case against me under section 13ia in Bangalore family court.

She is earning almost equal to my salary which is about 60 thousand per month, also we did not ask for such a grand marriage.

Please let me know on how the court is going to decide on alimony and marriage expenses.

Thanks.

1. Law is clear on 'marriage expenses'; it is not returned or burdened on bridegroom no matter how much a metro wife sheds tears via her alleged suit matter.

2. You can defend easily her tall alimony claims as Law is again clear on possible alimony she may or may not be entitled for. All you have to do is dig deep into Family Law Forum to discover such discussions we already had with similar queriest in past ! Self learning is best way to tackle such last mile marital issues instead of popping a 'financial figure' as queries is my view after all it helps queriest in better Court arguments and watching back of hired advocate on correct sets of pleading too.
