Advocate asking for fee in advance

Please guide me, in a case I contacted a lawyer he is asking for 50 % fees in advance to prepare papers and 50% he wants at the time of first hearing, whether it's ok to take full amount in advance, what would be his service after if case goes for 4-5 hearings or more,what should I do.

Deferent lawyer have deferent fee structure and is right to demand his fee in advance. The fee you give to lawyer is not for win or lose the case but for his proffessional services he works on you on your behalf. You cannot put conditions that upon wining the case you will pay only. YOU NEED DO PAY LAWYER FEE HOW THEY ASK, otherwise approach deferent lawyer as per your wish.
