Off late it has been noticed that in the Most popular of TV serials the Major time is being consumed by the TV ads and the time alloted for the actual serial is reduced. Even the small portion that is depicted is reduced by way of repeat of some portion of the previous days transmission.
I understand that there was a limitation set on the time that can be used for ADs which one can see in a small corner as to how many mins/seconds the ADs will last. But unfortunately this display starts after a few advertisements and the advertisements also continue after a small gap showing a small clip of the serial.
Are these violations of the Telecast rules and how is it being monitored and by whom. Is there a platform where a citizen can lodge a complaint? Further, the AD's are also getting to be giving out messages which instill fear subconsciously and forces you to buy the product. Like the one for Colgate tooth paste.
