I was working as associate professor in a college under Indian army. I was selected by UPSC to a higher post in Indian Naval Academy and joined there in Nov 2015 on technical resignation. My son was studying in class ix in army public school. On the advice of principal kendriya vidyalaya in the place of posting, my sons tc was obtained from army school and submitted it to kv in December 2015. It was recommended and forwarded to regional office Kochi under the special provisions for armed forces section of kv admission rules. It was denied by deputy commissioner Kochi. I would like to know if that provision is applicable to defence civiian also. Since class x admission is closed in normal circumsta ces, can my child get admission under this provision next year?
