Hi all,
I want to add nomination to my demat a/c.
I want to add my wife and minor daughter's name as nominee. How to do this?
My wife has another demat account.
Now the question is, in case of my death will the shares in my account can be sold by my wife?
Can she transfer the shares from my account to her account?
Do I have to open demat a/c for my daughter also?
I am confused with this issue.Please guide me.

ask your DP/broker for the necessary form for making the necessary nomination.
If nomination done favouring your wife,she could sell the shares or transfer the same to her account.
You need not to open a demat a/c in your daughter's name.

Once nomination is done, than your wife can either sell or transfer the shares as per her wish. Also you are not required to open a demat a/c for ur daughter
