Adding new charges

Hi,

My wife has filed a divorce case against me on the grounds of mental cruelty. One round of mediation is over. Another round of mediation is pending.

She is acting like this because of her family intervention and i am planning to contest the same. All the charges that they have put is false and can be easily quashed in court.

However, my question is whether they can add new charges during the court proceedings once the mediation is over?

Thanks,

Guy

Quash of divorce.....are you fool?

Who told you that divorce can be quashed.

You need a strong clarification that quash and charges are the procedure of criminal cases and not civil cases like divorce.

Get well soon, contact your lawyer and have a chamber discussion on all issues before it is too late.
