we have given our independent house on Leave & Licence basis to 3 boys for 11 months @ 18,000/- p.m. The Agreement is stamped and registered. Now they want to bring in another boy and pay addiional 2000 i.e. Rs.20,000/- p.m, What do i do, should i make an addendum to the L&L Agreement and should this also be stamped and regisered? They say a simple notarised agreement will do and we need not do a registered deed. .

1) As per agreement only 3 persons were allowed. Means only 3 person were allowed to stay there. Each individual have to pay 6k per head then how fourth person can pay 2k and leave there without any agreement.
2) To do registered or notarised agreement for rented premises it depend up on the wish of party.
3) Amendement in agreement is possible by correction deed.
