Action to be taken against police falsifying witness

Hi,

What action can be taken against the police who has falsified the statements given by the witness to their favor.

If at all we could get the proof that original statement of the witness is different from what police recorded in case dairy. Can we prove the whole investigation is futile and drop that particular evidence also from the case?

Thanks,

Learning

Yes, if you have evidence to prove that they have filed false case, better bring out the facts before the court during cross examination of the said witness and establish the fact before the court.

KalaiSelvan sir, Thats a interesting statement.

'Establish facts infront of court' Can this be of circumstantial -- without actual proof

like people dont plan things with all the documents in hand, right.. but based on certain instances, can we establish something which is quite evident.. .? but no documented proof or anything else available?
