sir, thank you for taking time and sending reply to my query.

we were concerned about obtaining the probate order from the court, which when preparing an application for grant of a Probate from competent court concerning a WILL, is there a requirement of paying a court fee as per the Stamp Duty Act,  or is there any exemption in particular states of India. I was told by someone that in AP and Telangana states there is an exemption for court fee and need not be paid, so I tried to look up on the internet to find the provision but I could not find any information.

kindly let us know if there is such provision in the telugu states and / or in Odisha

thank you once again
