Respected Member Is there any TAX liability on "COMPENSATION RECEIVED FROM NATIONAL HIGHWAY AUTHORITY OF INDIA for building as well as land (including plant on that land) acquired on account of widening national highway to four lane highway". BIJOY as per present tax statute ther is no tax on the monetary compensation received by the affected party from the any government authority.
