Dear Sir,
My question is : If someone hits my car/scooter by other other vehcile and I call police. Police ask us to compromise. If I think, my demage is more and other party is not ready to pay me the compensation, than police harass by saying that your vehicle will also be compounded and both you have to fight the case against each other in court and get your vehicle than from court order.
Of if it other way round, other party ask me to pay more compensation and i feel he is asking too much money or demand, which is not justify.
what the laws says on this and what course of action one should to in both the case.
sir specially in delhi, people are facing this kind of problem, they stop from complaining because police harass that innocent will also be punish.
