ASSOCHAM Presents:National Conference on Law and Economics Relevance to the Indian Legal Framework

 

Globally “Law & Economics” as a distinct discipline is well established. A lot of work has already been done in this area and the principles and theories promulgated under this discipline are being given due importance while farming laws. However, in India it is still at a nascent stage. In the light of the relevance it has, especially to the commercial laws of a country, Law & Economics, as a separate discipline needs to be promoted.

 

In this backdrop, ASSOCHAM plans to hold a One Day National Conference on Law and Economics- “Relevance to the Indian Legal Framework” on Saturday, 7th July, 2012 at Hotel Le-Meridien, New Delhi.

 

Shri Salman Khursheed, Hon’ble Minister of Law & Justice, GOI has already confirmed to be the“Chief Guest” in the “Inaugural Session” and address the delegates.
