my sister in law filed 498a case against me(A5) and my family members in 2013.i am A5 in the case and I was arrested and sent to judicial custody along with 2 other members of the family for 2 days.We have been acquitted by the court. I am planning to go to usa for higher studies. In Form DS-160 there is this question: have you ever been arrested or convicted for any offense or crime ? what should I reply to that and if I mention yes what documents should I submit so that I can get my visa?
