498a help

Hi there,

I am a NRI who got in menace of 498A early this year. I got regular bail from session court,  charge sheet has been filed and charges are made out against myself, dad and my brother. After rejection of overseas travel permission at lower court, today I got travel permission to join back work in Australia from High Court, Jodhpur under section 482. Just wondering, can opposite party apeal against my permission order as I am thinking of flying in 2 weeks. I also have LOC at immigration, I believe showing them proper documents would trouble me at the airport.

Another question for the expert is- Is it better to fight case on merits at trial court or file a revision order against 498a charges to slow down the case? Thanks a lot in advance

You have been allowed to travel abroad by Trail Court is sufficient, no one shall stop you at immegration.point, as apprehended by you.

Generally the permission is not withdrawn even in appeal/revision by Sessions or High Court., nothing serious to get bothered, your lawyer is there to take care, even if an appeal or revision is filed by the complainant.

Contest the case on its merits in Trial Court itself.

Best wishes.
