"Will" query

my wife's granny made a property will in my wife's name .. now her granny has passed away a month ago ...can
she claim that property?
it's a room in a pagdi operated chawl n we don't stay there her mama n mami Ji stays there

Yes, your wife can claim the property if her grandmother named her in the will.

If any grandparent dies without leaving any will, then only his immediate legal heirs i.e. his wife, son(s) and daughter(s) will have right to inherit the property left behind by them.
